Dear presenters at the upcoming European Sport Management Conference Malmoe 2018,
This information concerns all Presenters of accepted abstracts for any of our standard parallel tracks listed in the programme. You find your presentations slot in the latest version of the programme available on the conference website: http://easm2018.com/conference/programme-2
Please note that presenters in one of the interactive workshop sessions or poster sessions should have received guidance and information directly from the respective workshop/poster Convenors by now, since order and style of contributions vary.
The rich programme of the Malmoe 2018 conference features six blocks of parallel sessions across three days, with individual sessions lasting 100 minutes and to include five presentations. Each session starts on time with the Chair’s very brief welcome/introduction followed by individual presentations. Each presentation can be a maximum of 12 minutes and is immediately followed by a 5-minutes Q&A/discussion.
While the Scientific Committee and individual Review Track Chairs made efforts to cluster matching topics in each session, we are aware that it is natural for participants to move between sessions. Therefor, Session Chairs are instructed to control the timely flow between presentations and are aware of the need for a 3-minutes gap between presentations in order to allow for the next presenter to get ready and, possibly, for participants to change rooms.
All presenters of a respective session should arrive in the room at least ten minutes prior to the start of the session to both upload their presentations on the computer using a USB memory stick and to introduce themselves to the Chair. Please remember to bring your presentation on a USB. Technical support is available in all rooms.
We would like to very much thank you for adding to an informing and inspiring conference with your contribution, and appreciate that you prepare and rehearse your presentation according to the above guidance, especially the “12+5 rule”.
We wish you safe travels to Malmoe and are much looking forward to meet you in early September.
